Giving

Our church’s aim is to be “a spirit-filled community making disciples to the glory of God”. To achieve this vision, we need people to support it with their time, energy, abilities, and gifts. The Bible teaches that giving a proportion of personal income to the local church is an important part of Christian commitment.

Giving is one way of saying thank you to God for all his gifts to us.

As an independent church, we’re reliant on the freewill giving of our congregation. We’re so thankful for the generosity of those who give to the church, enabling us to fulfil our vision of making disciples of Jesus in Flitwick and the surrounding area, and to support Christian work across the world.

It’s really helpful to us if UK taxpayers use Gift Aid, enabling us to claim an extra 25% from HMRC.

There are four ways to give:

  1. Give regularly via Standing Order. Most of our income comes this way. It helps us budget, and is a simple way for you to maintain regular giving.
  2. Give via Stewardship. This is a way to give either one-off or regular gifts anonymously, by making the donation to Stewardship who then pass it to us, minus a small admin fee.
  3. Give on Sundays via
  4. the collection box. You can give via cheque or cash, though if you’re able to Gift Aid cash, please place it in an envelope with your name on it. Cheques may be placed directly into the box.
  5. card reader. This is found by the collection box and instructions are provided on the stand next to the reader
  6. QR code. The code can be found on the poster above the collection box, and is also provided below.
  7. Give via text. Please send a SMS text to 07380 307 800, containing our keyword "KINGSFW" followed by the word "give" followed by the amount you wish to give. For example, "KINGSFW give £25" pre-fills the Donate form for a one-off £25 donation.
